Thankfulness

Today, my heart is filled with thankfulness. Have there been any major events to be thankful for? Not really. The other day we were sitting down to a bowl of Sausage Potato soup. My heart was full. Why? Our heavenly Father was kind enough to provide us with this delicious, filling meal. Something as simple as a bowl of soup.

It has been quite cold outside. Our heavenly Father has seen fit to provide lots and lots of firewood to warm our house. As I look outside, I see the amazing colors of autumn. I see the beautiful colors of mums and roses.

Our daughter-in-law came over the other night with her 2 precious children. We had such a nice evening. There was laughter in our home.

Despite our life being stretched with many trials, when I take a moment to be still and ponder God's goodness, I am filled with thankfulness. What are you thankful for today?

  1. Hi, Teddi! I didn't know you had a blog! Thank you for sharing your thoughts. God is so good to us, in spite of the hardships of life. In fact, it's through those trials we grow and growth in the Lord is always a good thing. But I'm sure you already know that. :)
Among the many blessings I'm thankful for, I'm thankful for new friends!
